06/30/2008

Executive Director Stephanie Nilva shared her thoughts on the impact of the just-passed state law expanding civil orders of protection to unrelated victims abused in "dating relationships."

And while opponents argued the protection orders would further weigh down the city's overburdened family courts, Stephanie countered that Delaware, which passed a fair access law last year, only saw a 3% rise in cases.
