Executive Director Talks about Teen Intimate Partner Violence at a Columbia University Journalism Conference

 Executive Director Stephanie Nilva participated in "Out of the Shadows: Covering Intimate Partner Violence" a two-day workshop hosted by The Dart Center for Journalism and Trauma to educate journalists and news organizations about covering the critical public health issue of intimate partner violence. The workshop featured a wide range of speakers including national and local mental health and policy experts, award-winning journalists, educators and prevention advocates. Executive Director Participates in #WhatLoveMeans Twitter Chat

Executive Director Stephanie Nilva was a featured expert in one of the Twitter chats hosted by the Liz Claiborne Foundation's dating violence prevention initiative Love Is Not Abuse and Seventeen Magazine. The chats were organized to give teens a chance to get their relationship questions answered by experts and share their thoughts on dating, relationships and what behaviors should (and should never) be accepted from a boyfriend or girlfriend.
