Day One is proud to have collaborated with the other member organizations of the Healthy Teen Relationships Coalition to produce the third annual Healthy Teen Relationships Conference. Nearly two hundred youth and service providers attended this all day conference focusing on gender and its relation to healthy and unhealthy relationships.  This year's Conference featured a workshop run by Peer Leadership Coordinator, Joy, and Community Educator, Claudia, examining the songs "Love the Way You Lie" and "Love the Way You Lie, Part II" by Eminem and Rihanna. Youth Voices Network members, Lisa, Nisha, and Katie shared their insight and perspective on how to spot the warning signs of abuse and how to help a friend who might be in an abusive relationship.

The Conference featured keynote speaker and Youth Voices member Nisha, who addressed the audience of over 200 service providers in how to support young survivors of dating abuse and sexual assault. Day One congratulates Nisha on her accomplishments in advocating for other young survivors.
