Unique partnerships with public schools enable Day One to build and support safe learning environments for New York City students.  As an example, this spring Day One will reach all the students at Metropolitan High School in the South Bronx with our innovative and interactive workshops about dating violence. Delivering life-saving information to every student in the school fosters a culture that prioritizes healthy interactions and reduces overall tolerance for violence.  To schedule a workshop, or develop a unique partnership with Day One at your youth-serving site, please contact Claudia Martinez at educator@dayoneny.org.

Peer Leadership

Peer Leadership college interns begin their work on campus this month raising awareness among students about dating violence and relevant resources. For the first time, Day One is expanding outreach to New York City's private colleges and universities in addition to the city's public colleges.
