New College Campaign Raises Awareness of Dating Violence

Day One's Peer Leaders, our dedicated and empowered college interns, are developing an online magazine (e-zine) to distribute throughout New York City's colleges and universities. The magazine will encourage students to look atthe differences between healthy and unhealthy relationships, teach peers about the warning signs of an abuse, and connect them to resources to help get out of an abusive partnership. Every semester, outreach projects like this are equipping college students to organize their peers and take concrete steps to end dating violence in their own lives and in their communities.
