2nd Annual NYC Healthy Teen Relationships Conference
The 2nd Annual NYC Healthy Teen Relationships Conference is scheduled for Friday, May 21st. This year, the conference will look at media's influence on society, especially on views regarding gender and relationship and examine ways of transforming media into action against dating abuse among youth.
A range of workshops will be presented by youth and professionals. Already scheduled are a panel discussing digital abuse and one discussing the GlassBook Project described at right.
Day One is collaborating with nine other community organizations to plan and organize this event. Admission is free for teens. Professionals are welcome as long as they attend along with young people.
