Ending dating abuse, domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking requires the entire community to take a stand against violence. Day One works to make sure our entire NYC community is educated and organized to end dating abuse among youth.
The Youth Voices Network announces our annual writing contest for New York City public middle and high school students. We at YVN would like to ask for your support by entering our contest, or giving this information to something that you think might be interested! Winners of the contest will have their work published and showcased on the Day One website. This is a wonderful opportunity to explore the issue of teen dating violence while also having the opportunity to get published. The contest will culminate in a ceremony where the winners will have the opportunity to read their pieces and receive an award. Click the Writing Contest Flyer for more information!
Survivors of youth dating abuse who are looking to make a difference in the lives of other victims/survivors can join our Youth Voices Network where they coordinate and participate in community events that raise awareness about dating abuse.
