ANNOUNCEMENT:
Jan. 25, 2012 - Day One is now accepting referrals for our spring counseling group for young survivors of intimate partner abuse. The goals of the group sessions are to:
· Increase safety
· Decrease isolation
· Explore ways to build and maintain healthy relationships
These one-hour group sessions will start on March 1st, 2012 and will be held weekly on Thursdays at 5pm near Union Square in Manhattan. There will be 10 sessions in total.
This group is exclusively for youth ages 24 and younger who have been or are currently in an abusive relationship with a dating or intimate partner, including emotional, sexual, technological and/or physical abuse.
