The Youth Voices Network gives voice to survivors of dating abuse with the goal of helping youth build safe and healthy relationships. A group made up of former young victims, the Youth Voices Network channels the experiences of its members into building a safer future for other young people. By sharing first-hand accounts of relationship abuse with others, Day One aims to let other young victims know that they are not alone, raise awareness about warning signs of abuse and direct survivors to helpful resources. Sharing their stories offers the survivors an opportunity to heal and transform their experiences of pain into a powerful tool for change.

Youth Voices members join a community of fellow survivors who are building their public speaking, advocacy and leadership skills by speaking out against dating abuse. Their experiences have the potential to save lives by raising community knowledge about domestic violence and resources for help. Their advocacy with legislators and leaders impacts community attitudes and policy change.
The Youth Voices Network welcomes new members. Our members are survivors, ages 18-28, who have experienced domestic violence or dating abuse as a teen or young adult and have been out of an abusive relationship for at least one year.
