Training Supervisor & Staff Attorney

As Training Supervisor & Staff Attorney, Caitlin develops and conducts trainings on the intersection of the law & intimate partner violence (IPV) among youth aged 24 and under particular to law enforcement, presentment agencies, prosecutors, attorneys for children and community-based organizations.  Additionally, Caitlin provides legal information, direct representation & advocacy for young survivors of dating abuse.

Caitlin first attended The Johns Hopkins University with a major in Political Science and minors in Women, Gender & Sexuality & Africana Studies. After college, Caitlin remained in Baltimore, and worked as an Employment Advocate at a youth program.  The program supported out-of-school, low-income youth of color ages 21 and under in their quest to reach their educational & career goals. Caitlin, inspired by her work at the youth program, entered New York Law School determined to focus on working with youth in the legal arena.  In law school, she interned at the Sylvia Rivera Law Project as well as The Door’s Legal Services Center.  After law school, Caitlin worked at Legal Information for Families Today (LIFT), and provided legal information to litigants in Queens County Family Court.  From LIFT, Caitlin returned to working with youth as an attorney for the child at The Children’s Law Center, representing hundreds of young people and children in Kings County Family Court.

Born in Philadelphia, raised in Scranton, Pennsylvania & years in both Baltimore and New York City, Caitlin values supportive, honest & informed advocacy for all young people.
